Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Southwest Area Plan- to amend Land Use, Goal 1, adding the regulatory zone of Low Density Suburban-Two (LDS/2 Two units/acre)

The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Building Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to Washoe County Southwest Area Plan relating to:

Southwest Area Plan to amend Land Use, Goal 1, adding the regulatory zone of Low Density Suburban-Two (LDS/2 Two units/acre)    Click HERE to access the Draft Resolution.

Washoe County staff will be available to discuss the proposed amendments from 5:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for the March 1, 2022, Planning Commission meeting starting at 6:00 p.m.
