Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.
Washoe County Library wants kids to be excited about coding! This element of technology literacy is playing an ever-larger role in our digital society.
Take advantage of these free programs to get started! Drop-in coding clubs, week-long coding camps, and specialized programs are offered at several library locations. Registration may be required.
