Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Library System Expands Holds Only Pick Up Hours

Expanded Hold Only Pick Up Service Hours and Locations Now Being Offered.

Washoe County Library System will expand the Grab-and-Go or Drive Up Hold services at additional library branch locations beginning on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Patrons will be able to place holds from home and pick them up and return them at the open locations. Place a hold, wait to be notified for pick-up, go to your open branch, check out your holds, and exit the library. 

Hold Pick Up Drive-Up services are available:
Northwest Reno Library: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm
South Valleys Library: Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and Wednesday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm 

Hold Pick Up Grab and Go services are available:
Downtown Reno Library: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 10:00am until 2:00pm
Gerlach Community Library: Wednesday from 5:30pm until 7:30pm
Incline Village Library: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and Tuesday from 3:00pm until 7:00pm
North Valleys Library: Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and Wednesday from 3:00pm until 7:00pm
Sierra View Library: Thursday and Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and Tuesday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm
Spanish Springs Library: Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and Wednesday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm 
Sparks Library: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. 

Book Drop hours have also been expanded starting September 8, 2020.  No other services will be provided at these branch locations.  The Washoe County Library System is committed to a safe reopening that protects our patrons, staff, and community and looking forward to being able to offer additional services in the future.
