Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Registrar of Voters reminds community of upcoming deadlines

Reno, Nev. April 26, 2018. The Washoe County Registrar of Voters would like to remind the community of upcoming deadlines to register to vote for the Primary Election on June 12, 2018:

Primary Election Voter Registration Deadlines:

By Mail: Postmarked no later than May 15, 2018

In Person: Last day to register May 22, 2018

1001 E. Ninth St., Building A, 1st floor, Reno

Office hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., closed holidays

Online: Last day to register May 24, 2018, www.registertovotenv.gov

The deadline is also approaching for Military & Overseas citizens to register to vote with a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).

Military & Overseas citizens deadline to register: June 5, 2018

“It’s important to remember that you must be registered to participate in the upcoming Primary Election,” says Washoe County Registrar, Deanna Spikula. “Our office also recommends voters ensure they are registered at their current address, as it affects who you’ll vote for and where you’ll be voting.” To verify your current information, you can visit the Washoe County website.
